The price of a contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of an event occurring. If you believe an outcome is more likely than the current price suggests, you can buy; if less likely, you can sell.

Prices range from $0.01 to $0.99 and represent the market's implied probability. A YES share priced at $0.60 means the market believes there's a 60% chance the event will happen. If the event occurs, YES shares pay out $1.00; if not, they pay $0.

A market order executes immediately at the best available price. A limit order lets you specify the exact price you want to pay - it will only execute if the market reaches your price. Limit orders may offer better prices but aren't guaranteed to fill.

When the event outcome is determined, the market resolves. If you hold winning shares (YES shares for a yes outcome, or NO shares for a no outcome), each share pays out $1.00. Losing shares pay out $0. Payouts are automatically credited to your wallet.
